On August 13, 2019, Metropolitan Anthony of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Head of the Directorate for Institutions Abroad of the Russian Orthodox Church, arrived to the Diocese of Sourozh with an official visit.

At the Heathrow Airport, the Patriarchal Exarch was met by Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, who temporarily runs Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada.
