Russian Orthodox Church in Great Britain and Ireland

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

June 3 - 5, 2011

«Living the Liturgy»

The Annual Conference provides a unique opportunity for people from around the country to gather in fellowship, prayer and discourse.

This year we shall reflect on the nature and meaning of our participation in the liturgical life of the Church. The Divine Liturgy and the daily, weekly and yearly cycles of the church services together with the Holy Mysteries and ocasional services are the framework and support for our growth in Christ. Yet for many the structure and spiritual depth of the divine services remains inaccessible for one reason or another. The Conference aims to reveal something of the riches of our liturgical tradition to those who wish to participate more fully in the worship of the Church.

As always, our common prayer in the church services will be at the heart of the Conference.
