On 11th June, during his stay in Great Britain, Archbishop Mark of Yegoryevsk, Head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Administration for Foreign Institutions,together with Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh visited the Patriarchal Stavropegic Monastery of St John the Baptist in Essex, near Maldon (Constantinople Patriarchate).
The Diocesan Jubilee Congress, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Diocese of Sourozh, took place from 8th to 10th June 2012.
On Thursday, 24th May, feast of the Ascension of the Lord which coincided this year with the day of the Holy Cyril and Methodius, Equals-to-the-Apostles (the Nameday of His Holiness Patriarch Kyrill), Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh took part in the celebration of the festive Divine Liturgy presided by His Holiness Patriarch Kyrill and His Eminence Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece. The service was held in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Moscow's Kremlin.
On 24th May, day of the Ascension of the Lord, with the blessing of Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh, the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Dormition in London was celebrated by Bishop Pankraty of Troitsk, Suffragan Bishop of the Moscow Diocese and Dean of Valaam Monastery.
On Sunday 13 May The Kursk-Root Icon of the the Mother of God of the Sign arrived at the London Dormition cathedral of the Diocese of Sourozh.

The right of Christians to wear the cross has been lately amply discussed in the UK and Russia. The discussion was caused by the article "Christians have no right to wear cross at work, says Government" published by "The Daily Telegraph"on 12th March 2012
The annual Pan-Orthodox Vespers this year took place at the Georgian Orthodox Cathedral of the Nativity of the Lord, Rookwood Rd N16 6SS, on Sunday 4th March at 6pm.
The services of the first week of Great Lent are being celebrated in their fullness at the Cathedral.
With the blessing of Archbishop Elisey, on 8th January, the Sunday after the Nativity of Christ, a charity performance of “In the Light of the Christmas Star” was staged by the children's parish school of the Dormition Cathedral in London.
On 8th January, the Sunday after Christmas and the feast of the Synaxis of the Mother of God, Archbishop Elisey of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Parish of St Silouan the Athonite in Southampton (Deanery of South-East England).
