With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, assisted by the clergy of the diocese: Dean of the Diocesan District of Wales, Archimandrite Deiniol (Davis), Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-West England, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Archpriest Nicolae Prescura, Priest Lazar Jones, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik, and Deacon Cosma Fratyanu.
The liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the litany of fervent supplication, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko said a prayer for the granting of peace.
At the funeral litany, petitions were offered for the repose of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony.
After the dismissal of the Liturgy, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko gave a sermon, after which a panikhida for Bishop Anthony was held in the center of the church.
Father Dimitry, on behalf of His Grace Bishop Matthew, the clergy, staff and parishioners of the cathedral, warmly congratulated Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, who was celebrating his birthday, and presented Father Vitaly with a holy prosphora and a bouquet of flowers.
A general memorial meal was held at the end, during which the senior clergy shared memories of their joint service with Metropolitan Anthony.
