On May 29, 2025, on the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of Wales Hegumen Daniil (Davis), Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Protodeacon Ioann Sylnik and Deacon Viktor Nikiforov.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the small entrance, Bishop Matthew, in recognition of his zealous pastoral and missionary work and in connection with his 75th birthday, elevated the Dean of the diocesan district of Wales, Abbot Daniel (Davis), to the rank of archimandrite.
After the prayer after the communion, a glorification of the feast of the Ascension of the Lord was performed.
At the end of the service, Bishop Matthew addressed those present with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, on behalf of the clergy, staff and parishioners of the cathedral, warmly congratulated the Archpastor on his recent birthday and, as a token of gratitude, presented the Right Reverend Vladyka with a holy prosphora, a commemorative panagia and a bouquet of flowers. 
In conclusion, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch proclaimed many years to Bishop Matthew.
