On December 3, 2022, on the eve of the Feast of the Entry into the Temple of Our Most Holy Lady Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevich, Protodeacon Gennady Stets, and Deacon John Sylnik.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
During the Vespers, a litia was served with the blessing of bread, wheat, wine, and oil.
At Matins, after reading the Holy Gospel, Vladyka Matthew anointed the clergy and believers with consecrated oil.
