« His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served a panikhida at the grave of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) »

On August 4, on the 16th anniversary of the passing away of the founder of the Diocese of Sourozh, Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served a panikhida at the Brompton cemetery in the city of London.

The service was attended by the clergy of the Dormition Cathedral, pilgrims in holy order, numerous parishioners, spiritual children and admirers of the ever-memorable Vladyka Anthony.

After the panikhida, Vladyka Matthew laid flowers on the grave and addressed those present with a word of spiritual edification, emphasizing the importance of the archpastoral writings of Metropolitan Anthony not only within the territory of the Diocese of Sourozh, but also in the general Christian context of modern church life.
