On July 27, 2019, on the eve of the 6th Sunday  after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of the holy fathers of the six Ecumenical Councils and Grand Prince Vladimir (or Basil at the holy baptism), Equal to the Apostles, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh headed an all-night vigil at the Cathedral of the City of London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Deanof the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, Priest Alexander Visan, Priest Sergy Fedorenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

The liturgical chants were sung by the Cathedral choir conducted by Marina Bezmenova.

At the Matins of the all-night vigil, after the Holy Gospel reading, His Grace anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
