« Representatives of the Diocese of Sourozh took part in the opening of the photo exhibition “Holy Mount Athos” »

On May 20, 2019, an exhibition by the famous Greek photographer Kostas Assimis “Holy Mount Athos” has opened in the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in London.
With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko and Cleric of the Dormition Cathedral in London Protodeacon Vadim Santsevich as well as parishioners of the Cathedral took part in the event.
S.F.  Aleinik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Archbishop Mar Afanasios Toma Daoud (Syrian Jacobite Church), members of the diplomatic corps, members of the British public and Russian diaspora in Great Britain, attended the exhibition. 
Welcoming speeches were made by A. V. Yakovenko, Ambassador of Russia , photographer Kostas Assimis and A. A. Chesnokov, Head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo.  K. Assimis conducted a detailed tour, giving a detailed account of each of his works, and answered questions of those present.
The exhibition was organized with the mediation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and personally A. V. Yakovenko, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to the UK, and  A.V. Motlohov,  Orthodox philanthropist and treasurer of the London Cathedral.
