« On the feast day of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Liturgy at the London Cathedral »

On May 22, 2019, on Wednesday of the 4th Week after Pentecost, the feast day of transferring the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker from the Myra of Lycia to Bari, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.
After the prayer before the ambon,  Vladyka Matthew and the coserving clergy sung glorification to the feast. 
At the end of the service, the Archpastor addressed all those present with words of edification.
Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, the oldest cleric of the Cathedral, warmly congratulated Vladyka Matthew on his recent birthday, which fell on the Vladyka's archpastoral visit to America and Canada, and  presented to him a bouquet of flowers as a sign of gratitude and love.
