On April 25, 2019, on the eve of the Great Friday, a day of remembrance of the Holy Salvatory Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served Matins with reading of the twelve Passion Gospels at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, Priest Dmitriy Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Diocese, Priest Viktor Akhryapin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, deacon Victor Nikiforov and deacon Nil  Lyubchenko.
The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.
At the end of the service, the Right Reverend Archbishop addressed the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with a word of edification.
