On the evening of September 26, 2026, on the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Archpriest Nikita Kozlov; Priest Vasily Gandzyuk; Priest Alexander Kapustin; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; and Protodeacon Ioann Sylnyk.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
During the evening service, Bishop Matthew celebrated the litany with the blessing of the loaves, wheat, wine, and oil.
After the Great Doxology, with the singing of "Holy God," His Grace the Archpastor brought the Cross out of the altar and performed the Rite of the Exaltation of the Cross on the pulpit in the center of the church.
At the conclusion of Matins, Bishop Matthew anointed the worshipers with blessed oil.
