On September 27, 2026, the 17th Sunday after Pentecost, the Feast of the Universal Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Archpriest Nikita Kozlov; Priest Vasily Gandzyuk; Priest Alexander Kapustin; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; and Protodeacon Ioann Sylnyk.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the Prayer after the Ambo, the Archpastor and concelebrating clergy performed the glorification of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord.
At the conclusion of the divine service, Bishop Matthew addressed the parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
