On August 4, 2026, following the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh opened a new exhibition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the repose and the 30th anniversary of the uncovering of the relics of St. Luke of Crimea (Voyno-Yasenetsky, 1877–1961).
The event was attended by clergy and laity who had come to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the repose of the founder of the Diocese of Sourozh, the ever-memorable Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), as well as cathedral staff and parishioners.
Opening the exhibition, His Grace noted that although there is no direct evidence of personal contact between Metropolitan Anthony and Archbishop Luke, a deep spiritual connection can be traced between them. They both met with Saint Athanasius of Kovrov (Sakharov), who became a model for them as a confessor and a model for spiritual life during a difficult period in the history of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Exhibition curator Yana Reznik gave a presentation and discussed the exhibition's creation. Archpriest Joseph Skinner translated the presentation into English.
The exhibition is open during the opening hours of the Dormition Cathedral until the end of the year.
