On the evening of August 27, 2025, on the eve of the feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of Our Lord and the Virgin Mary, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Dean of the Diocesan District of Scotland Priest Alexander Menshikov, Priest Alexander Kapustin and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.

During the vespers, the Archpastor performed the litiya with the blessing of bread, wheat, wine and oil. At the polyeleos, a shroud with an image of the Dormition of the Mother of God was brought out of the altar. After the reading of the Gospel, Bishop Matthew anointed the clergy and worshipers with consecrated oil.
