On August 26, 2025, the aftermath of the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the day of remembrance of St. Tikhon, Bishop of Voronezh, Zadonsk miracle worker, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Nikita Kozlov and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the chamber choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the Liturgy, His Grace performed a glorification of the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord and St. Tikhon of Zadonsk and addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of the sermon. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The Archpastor warmly congratulated nun Tikhona (Yesina) on her name day and, as a blessing for her church work, presented her with an icon of the Most Holy Theotokos and a holy prosphora.
