On December 6, 2025, the feast day of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky and Saint Mitrophan, Bishop of Voronezh, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

Before the Liturgy, a reliquary containing great Christian relics - a particle of the Life-giving Cross of the Lord, the Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos, and particles of the holy relics of God's chosen saints - was brought from the altar to the center of the church.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and the clergy of the Diocese of Sourozh.

The deacon's rank was led by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, a cleric of the Dormition Cathedral in London.

Members of the Diocesan Assembly and representatives of parishes of the Diocese of Sourozh prayed at the Liturgy.

The Cathedral Choir, directed by Dmitry Tugarinov, performed the liturgical hymns.

Following the litany of fervent supplication, His Grace the Archbishop offered a prayer for the restoration of peace.

Following the Liturgy, Bishop Matthew addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon and words of spiritual edification. Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch translated into English.

On the same day, a meeting of the Diocesan Assembly of the Diocese of Sourozh was held at Dormition Cathedral in London.
