« Bishop Matthew of Sourozh has completed his Archpastoral visit to the Patriarchal Parishes in Canada »

The archpastoral visit of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh to the Patriarchal Parishes in Canada took place from June 12 to 19, 2025.
Concluding his stay on Canadian soil, Bishop Matthew visited St. Barbara's Cathedral in Edmonton, Alberta, where he served a short moleben before the cathedral's main relic - the left foot of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara (+306), which is located in the church.
Vladyka Matthew also held a working meeting with the active members of the sisterhood of the Cathedral, which is headed by the wife of the Rector of the church - Mother Natalia Kisil.
The Archpastor was seen off by Rector of the Cathedral, the Dean of the Patriarchal parishes in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, Archpriest Igor Kisil, and Rector of the parish district “Orthodox IX”, Archpriest Evgeny Protsenko.
