On June 11, 2025, on the day of commemoration of St. Luke the Confessor, Archbishop of Simferopol (1961), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Nikita Kozlov and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the chamber choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the prayer behind the ambo, the Archpastor and the co-serving clergy performed a glorification before the icon of St. Luke containing a particle of his holy relics.
At the end of the divine service, Bishop Matthew addressed the parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. The translation into English was done by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
