On May 6, 2025, the day of remembrance of the Great Martyr George the Victorious and the holy martyrs Anatoly and Protoleon, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the funeral litany, the Right Reverend Bishop offered prayers for ever-memorable Archbishop Anatoly (Kuznetsov), former vicar of the Sourozh Diocese (+26.01.2024).
After the prayer after the communion, the Archpastor and the concelebrating clergy performed a glorification before the icon of the Great Martyr George the Victorious.
At the end of the service, Bishop Matthew addressed those present with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
