« Clergy of the Diocese of Sourozh took part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the St. Sergius Theological Institute in Paris »

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, celebrations were held to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris, France.
With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, clergy of the Diocese of Sourozh, graduates of the St. Sergius Institute, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov and Priest Anatoly Vikhrov took part in the festive service and ceremonial events.
The Divine Liturgy at the St. Sergius Metochion on Rue de Crime was celebrated by the head of the Archdiocese of Western European Parishes of the Russian Tradition, Metropolitan John of Dubna, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, and Bishop Justin of Western Europe (Serbian Orthodox Church). The Most Reverend Archpastors were assisted by Rector of the Church of St. Hermogenes in Marseille, Protopresbyter John Gate, Rector of the Church of St. Seraphim in Paris, Archpriest Nikolai Chernokrak, graduates of the Institute of various years, and guests in holy orders, the Korsun Diocese website reports. 
Metropolitan Dimitri of France (Constantinople Patriarchate) prayed at the Liturgy. 
After the service, a conference was held within the walls of the institute, where Professor Michel Stavrou and Professor Antoine Nivière delivered reports on the historical heritage of the St. Sergius Institute.
Then the participants in the celebrations shared a festive meal.
