« On Cheese Fare Sunday, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh Celebrates Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

On March 2, 2025, Cheese Fare Sunday, the commemoration of Adam’s expulsion (Forgiveness Sunday), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.  
Concelebrating with His Grace were Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the South-East England Diocesan District, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Protodeacon Ioan Sîlnic, Deacon Marek Dadela, and Deacon Vasilly Carr (the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA).  
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.  
During the Communion Hymn, in the altar of the church, the clergy and servers cordially congratulated His Grace Vladyka on the 27th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood, which had been celebrated the day before. On behalf of those present, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, addressed Bishop Matthew with words of greeting. In turn, His Grace warmly thanked the clergy and altar servers for their congratulations.  
The sermon following the dismissal of the Liturgy was delivered by Archpriest Nikita Kozlov. Simultaneous English translation was provided by Alexander Selegenev.
