On February 15, on the feast of the Presentation of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, the Day of Orthodox Youth, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-West England, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, clergy of the UOC temporarily staying on the territory of the Diocese of Sourozh, Deacon Ioann Sylnik  and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
Liturgical chants were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Before the start of the Liturgy, an ark with great Christian shrines (a particle of the Life-giving Cross of the Lord, the belt of the Most Holy Mother of God and particles of the holy relics of God's chosen saints) was carried from the altar to the middle of the church.
On the sacramental verse, the Patriarchal Address on the occasion of the celebration of Orthodox Youth Day was read in Russian and English.
At the end of the Liturgy, the “Rite of Blessing the Candles on the feast of the Presentation of the Lord” and glorification of the feast were performed.
In conclusion, His Grace the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon on the theme of the feast. Translation into English was provided by Archpriest Joseph Skinner.
