« Moscow Theological Academy will offer online studies in English to future clergy and staff of parishes abroad »

The Moscow Theological Academy announced the start of registration for an English-language online learning program.  The nine-month course will consist of seven fundamental disciplines of the Orthodox Theology academic program, including the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, dogmatic theology, patrology, basics of Orthodox liturgy, history of the Church and history of the Russian Orthodox Church.
According to the MTA website, the course of lectures is intended for the training of future clergymen and employees of the Church who serve in the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad and have a higher secular education and the necessary self-education skills, as well as for foreign-languages speaking students who wish to acquire knowledge in the field of Orthodox teaching.
