« Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and All Moldova visited the St. Peter and St. Paul Church in Dublin »

On July 29, 2023, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and All Moldova, permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, visited the church of the Diocese of Sourozh in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Dublin, while on a visit to the Republic of Ireland.
The head of the Chisinau-Moldavian Metropolis and those accompanying him, Eugene Chiriac and Nicolae Sirba, were met by the Dean of the diocesan district of the Republic of Ireland, Rector of the church, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, and the cleric of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Gennady Sokolov. Father Mikhail acquainted Metropolitan Vladimir with the peculiarities of Orthodox life in Ireland, spoke about the shrines of the church and its history, and gave a tour of the parish Educational Center.
In memory of the visit to the church, Archpriest Michael presented icons of St.Patrick, Enlightener of Ireland (c. 383-461) to the distinguished guest and his companions.
