On July 16, 2023, on the 6th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast of the transfer of the relics of St. Philip, Metropolitan of Moscow and All Russia, miracle worker (1652), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, while on a working trip to Russia, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted at the service by Archpriest Damian Kruglik and the clergy of the church.
At the after-communion verse, His Grace Vladyka presented all the clergy and servers who were present at the altar for the divine service with souvenirs and memorable gifts from England.
At the end of the Liturgy, a glorification was performed, after which Bishop Matthew warmly congratulated Archpriest Damian on his recently passed name day and presented the icon of the Mother of God, flowers and, as a sign of prayerful communion, the holy prosphora.
In response, Father Damian thanked Vladyka for his congratulations, expressing, on behalf of all those present, the joy of the joint service.
At the end of the service, a festive meal was held on the occasion of Archpriest Damian's namesake.  Bishop Matthew and the clergy of the church continued their communion at the meal, where Vladyka presented to Fr. Damian another valuable memorable gift - a limited edition tea set produced in England in honour of the recent coronation of King Charles III of Great Britain, according to the website of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye.
