On the evening of 1st July, 2023, on the eve of the 4th Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, and Deacon Ion Silnic.
Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
During the all-night vigil, during the celebration of the polyeleos,  an ark with great Christian shrines (a particle of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the belt of the Most Holy Mother of God and particles of the holy relics of the chosen Saints of God) was carried from the altar to the middle of the Cathedral.
At Matins, after reading the Gospel, Vladyka Matthew anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
