On May 26, 2023, a graduation ceremony took place at the Sunday School at St.Peter and St.Paul Church in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Eight students received school leaving certificates.After a common prayer, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, Rector of the church, addressed the children with a parting word, wishing them to adhere to the Orthodox faith and “to sail together on a ship of salvation to the harbour of the Kingdom of God.” Father Mikhail thanked the school director Yulia Viktorovna Sokolova and the teachers for their selfless work and active participation in the children's school life. Then the graduates presented flowers to their teachers.
Director Yu.V. Sokolova also addressed parents of the students with words of gratitude. She expressed her gratitude to the parents for supporting the Sunday school during its formation, for their active participation in school events, and for their help in solving organizational issues.
The solemn part ended with presentation of certificates and memorable gifts to graduates.
Then a festive concert took place, where the children demonstrated their talents to those present. After the concert, all participants were able to communicate over a common meal.
The graduation event was continued by various competitions.
The graduates promised to continue to help in the events held by the Sunday school and to actively participate in the parish life of the church.
