On May 21, 2023, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, visited the home church in honour of the Pochaev Icon of the Most Holy Mother of God, located in the bishop's residence in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Archpastor offered up prayers in the church, and venerated the shrines kept in the altar.

Then Vladyka Matthew met with the clergy of the Patriarchal parishes in Canada, during which they discussed current issues of parish life.

After the meeting, His Grace Vladyka continued to work with documents and considered a number of administrative and economic matters.
