« Diocesan community of the Holy Apostle Luke in Tunbridge Wells held their first parish meeting »

On May 20, 2023, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the diocesan community of the Holy Apostle Luke held their parish meeting in Tunbridge Wells, during which the participants made important decisions related to the further organization of the community's parish life.

After the Divine Liturgy, which was officiated by the Rector, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, and the common meal, Father Vitaly opened the parish meeting and announced the agenda of the meeting to the members of the community present.

During the meeting, the participants unanimously decided to ask the ruling bishop of the Diocese of Sourozh, His Grace Bishop Matthew, to bless the transformation of the diocesan community in Tunbridge Wells into a parish, the meeting considered and adopted the parish charter.  In accordance with the charter, members of the parish council were elected: churchwarden - Dennis Flower and treasurer - Marina Dvoynikova.

Furthermore, the meeting discussed the current issues of parish life, and Father Vitaly answered the questions of parishioners.
