On April 1, 2023, after the divine Liturgy, the Diocesan Assembly of the Diocese of Sourozh was held under the chairmanship of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in Manchester.The Assembly was attended by clergy and churchwardens of parishes and diocesan communities.
After discussing procedural issues, the participants elected a vice-chairman, a secretary and an interpreter for the period of the meeting.
According to the agenda, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh delivered a report on the current state of church life in the diocese.
The reports of the deans of the diocesan districts were heard and elections of the Diocesan Council was held.
