On March 3, 2023, Friday of the first week of Great Lent, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England, Archpriest Adrian Michalaki, Archpriest Nicolae Prescura, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the prayer behind the ambo, His Grace Vladyka headed the moleben to the Great Martyr Theodore Tyron and consecrated the kolivo, which, according to church tradition, was offered to the parishioners.
After the moleben, the Archpastor addressed those present with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
