On December 4, 2023, on the feast of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Mother of God, after the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh took part in the closing of the exhibition of children’s drawings “We Draw Flowers”, dedicated to the 159th anniversary of the birth of the Venerable Martyr Grand Duchess Elisaveta Feodorovna.
The exhibition displayed at the Dormition Cathedral in London since November 5, 2023, featured works by students of the parochial schools of the Diocese of Sourozh from London, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester and Nottingham.  The exhibition included drawings by students of secular Russian schools “Fairy Tale” (London), “Rainbow” (London), “Knowledge” (London), “Istok” (Reading), and the art studio “Drawing Together”.
Bishop Matthew addressed the representatives of the participating schools with a word of gratitude, especially noting the talents of the young artists, whose works aroused great interest among the parishioners of the Cathedral and visitors to the exhibition.  The participants were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
