On April 30, 2022, Saturday of Bright Week, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.The clergy of the church co-served with the Right Reverend Vladyka.
Following the prayer behind the ambo, Vladyka Matthew headed the procession with the sprinkling of holy water, after which he read a prayer for the distribution of the arthos - bread consecrated on Easter night, and addressed the clergy and parishioners with a word of sermon and spiritual edification.
