« On the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

On July 21, 2021, on the feast of the appearance of the icon of the Most Holy Mother of God in Kazan (1579), the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the first divine service after the lifting of all government restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic, was celebrated with the presence of parishioners by priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, assisted by protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
After the Liturgy, Father Dimitry addressed the parishioners with words of a sermon on the theme of the feast.
The divine service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
From July 20, 2021, the mandatory registration of parishioners for divine services has been lifted in the parishes of the Sourozh diocese.
The wearing of masks and social distancing are not required, but these security measures may be the personal choice of clergy and parishioners.
