« Patronal feast was celebrated at the bishop's metochion in Rocksfarm »

On July 18, 2021, on the day of memory of the venerable Martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and nun Barbara, a patronal feast was celebrated at the bishop's metochion in Rocksfarm, near Bodiam, East Sussex.

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, priest Sergiy Fedorenko celebrated the Divine Liturgy.  After the service, a religious procession took place.

On the feast day, the monastery site was visited by pilgrims from London and nearby towns in South-East England.  The parishioners were able to pray and venerate the holy relics of the holy martyrs, the particles of which are kept in the reliquary in the home church of the metochion.

After the service, all those present shared a common meal, lovingly prepared under the guidance of the elder sister of the metochion, nun Martha (Persianinova).
