« Presentation of the cartoon "Prince Alexander Nevsky" (in 2 parts) took place at the Dormition Cathedral in London »

On December 5, 2021, after the Divine Liturgy, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, a presentation of the first and second parts of the cartoon, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky, was presented to the attention of the clergy and parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral in London.
At the beginning of the event, the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of choir master Dmitry Tugarinov sang the troparion to the Holy Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky.  Then the church's cleric, archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, spoke about the life of Prince Alexander Nevsky and his glorification among the Saints.
During the presentation, two pieces of music were performed - an excerpt from the opera "Sadko" by N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov and the girl's aria "Dead Field" from the cantata "Alexander Nevsky" by S.S. Prokofiev - performed by Sabrina Savenkova (harp) and Sofia Reznik (vocals), graduates of the children's parish school.
