On August 19, 2019, on the feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-West England, Archpriest Nikolai Preskure, Priest Dimitri Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.

Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova.

Following the prayer before the ambo, Vladyka Matthew blessed the fruits, and then congratulated the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with the feast of Transfiguration, and addressed those present with a sermon and words of spiritual edification.
