On July 7, 2019, on the 3rd Sunday after Pentecost, the feast of the Nativity of the Honorable and Glorious Prophet John, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated  the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Priest Alexander Menshikov, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Anthony Ivashin.
The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V.  Bezmenova.
During the Augmented litany, petitions were raised about the unity of the Orthodox Church and the preservation of the Church from schisms and divisions.
After the Augmented litany, the Right Reverend Vladyka prayed for peace in Ukraine.
After the prayer before the ambon, Vladyka Matthew headed the glorification to the feast, after which he addressed the clergy and laity with words of preaching and spiritual edification.
