On March 15, 2019, on Friday of the first week of the Great Lent, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.

His Grace was assisted by the clergy of the Cathedral: Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England , Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

Following the prayer before the ambo, the Right Reverend Vladyka, in co-service of the clergy, headed a prayerful singing to the holy Great Martyr Theodore Tiron and the order of the blessing of the kolivo, after which a litia was served for all Orthodox Christians who departed throughout all ages.

At the end of the service, the Archpastor addressed all those gathered for the prayer with  words of preaching and spiritual edification.
