On July 12, 2018, the day of the feast of the holy chief apostles Peter and Paul, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assister by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Archpriest Nikolai Preskura, Rector of the St. Nicholas parish in the City of London,  Priest Anatoly Vikhrov, Rector of the parish of St. Blessed Xenia of Petersburg in the city of Leeds, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Deacon Sergiy Sokolovsky and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.

Liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova.

At the small entrance, in connection with the receipt of higher spiritual education, His Eminence granted Priest Anatoly Vikhrov the right to wear a legguard.

At the end of the service, the Archpastor and members of the clergy sung glory to the chief apostles Peter and Paul.

Vladyka Matthew congratulated the parishioners and clergy of the cathedral with the feast and addressed all with the word of edification. 
The Most Reverend Vladyka congratulated the communicants with receiving the Holy Mysteries of Christ and gave to everyone his archpastoral blessing.
