On November 28, 2018, on the eve of the memory day of the holy Apostle and Evangelist Matthew, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, served an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.

His Grace was assisted by: Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Alexander Ilic (Serbian Patriarchate), Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the South-Western Diocesan District, Priest Dimitri Nedostyenko, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

During the matins, after the Gospel reading, His Grace anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
