On October 29, 2018, on the 22nd week after the Pentecost, a day of the memory of St. Athanasius the Confessor, Bishop of Kovrov, Right Reverend Bishop Matthew of Surozh celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of South-West England, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevich, Deacon Anthony Ivashin and Deacon Vladimir Kastravet.

Liturgical hymns were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.Yu. Bezmenova.

After the prayer before the ambo, Vladyka Matthew and the serving clergy sung glory to St. Athanasius.

After the Divine Liturgy, His Grace addressed the clergy and his flock with a sermon and words of spiritual edification.
