On July 3, 2026, as part of his archpastoral visit to the deaneries of Wales and Northern England, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh visited the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God in Manchester.
His Grace served a short prayer service, venerated the relics, and toured the church.
Bishop Matthew then held a working meeting with the deputy church warden, nun Tikhona (Yesina), and the director of the Pokrov parish school, Lyudmila Sivori.
On Sunday, July 5, Bishop Matthew will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God in Manchester. The service will begin at 9:30 a.m.
