On Wednesday of Holy Week, April 8, 2026, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the final Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts this year at Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Dmitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Archpriest Nikita Kozlov; Priest Alexander Kapustin; Priest Sergei Sokolovsky; Priest Nektary Baska; and Deacon Nikolai Makarov.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov. At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Matthew addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Priest Alexander Kapustin provided the English translation.
