On April 11, 2026, Holy Saturday, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated Vespers with the reading of the 15 paremias and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky; Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Priest Alexander Kapustin; Priest Sergei Sokolovsky; Priest Nektary Baska; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; and Deacon Nikolai Makarov.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.

Following the Holy Saturday tradition, after the Epistle Reading, before the Gospel reading, the clergy changed from their black Lenten vestments to white ones.

Following the prayer after the communion, His Grace the Archbishop performed the blessing of bread and wine and recited the prayer "For Peace in the Holy Land."

He then addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Archdeacon Vadim Santsevitch.

Then Bishop Matthew read the prayer for the blessing of cheese and eggs, the prayer for the blessing of food and meat, and sprinkled the Paschal offerings with holy water.
