On the evening of February 7, 2026, on the eve of the Sunday of the Prodigal Son, the feast of the Synaxis of New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky; Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Nikita Kozlov; and Priest Alexander Kapustin.
The cathedral choir, under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov, performed the liturgical hymns.
At Matins, after the Gospel reading, the Right Reverend Archpastor anointed the clergy and worshippers with holy oil.
