On the evening of January 6, 2026, on the eve of the feast of the Nativity of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the all-night vigil at Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England; Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh; Priest Alexander Kapustin; Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch; Protodeacon John Sylnik and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov, performed the liturgical hymns.
During Great Compline, His Grace Vladyka celebrated the litiya with the blessing of the five loaves of bread, wine, and oil.
In recognition of his zealous ecclesiastical labors, Bishop Matthew granted Subdeacon Daniil Rylev the right to wear a cassock.
At Matins, after the Gospel reading, Bishop Matthew anointed the clergy and worshippers with blessed oil.
