On September 27, 2025, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Archpriest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Sergiy Fedorenko, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch, Protodeacon Ioann Sylnyk, and Deacon Nektariy Baska.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Dormition Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the Liturgy, His Grace and the concelebrating clergy performed prayerful praise and veneration of the Cross of the Lord. The Archpastor then addressed the cathedral parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
