The Divine Liturgy at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral was celebrated by the head of the Archdiocese, Metropolitan John of Dubna, Bishop Justin of Western Europe (Serbian Patriarchate), and Archdiocesan Vicar Bishop Elisey of Reutov.The bishops were assisted by clergy of the Archdiocese and guests in holy order.
With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the Sourozh Diocese was represented at the celebrations by Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of South West England and Head of the Diocesan Department for Inter-Orthodox relations.
At the Little Entrance, Archpriest Mihail Cusnir, a cleric of the Archdiocese, was awarded the right to wear a mitre in honor of his 25th anniversary as a priest.
Following the Liturgy, Metropolitan John presented Archpriest Nikolas Crnokrak with the high Patriarchal award - the Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov, 2nd Class in honour of his 40th anniversary as a priest.
Then the hierarchs, clergy, and guests of the cathedral shared a festive meal.
